FAQs
1. What areas do you serve?
I currently serve clients throughout the Metro NYC area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and New Jersey. If you're unsure whether you're in my service area, just reach out—I’m happy to check! Travel fees may apply.
2. Do you cook in my home or deliver the meals?
Both options are available depending on your preference and location.
-
Meal Prep is typically done in your home, using your kitchen for food safety and freshness.
-
Delivery may be offered for select services—contact me to discuss options.
3. How does family-style meal prep work?
Family-style meal prep is a weekly service where I prepare a full menu of meals (usually 3–5 dishes) tailored to your preferences. Meals are packed in reusable containers and labeled with reheating instructions. This service starts at $150, not including groceries.
4. Do you accommodate special diets?
Yes! I have extensive experience working with clients on gluten-free, low-carb, keto, low glycemic, and plant-based diets. I’m also certified in plant-based nutrition through Cornell University and can customize menus to meet your health goals or doctor’s recommendations.
5. What kind of private events do you cater?
I offer plated or buffet-style private dinners, intimate parties, corporate lunches, and summer BBQs for personal or business occasions. Menus are personalized and pricing is typically per person depending on the event size and menu complexity.
6. How much notice do you need to book a service?
For weekly meal prep, I recommend booking at least one week in advance to ensure availability.
For private dinners or events, 2 weeks’ notice is ideal, especially during peak seasons.
7. Are groceries included in the price?
Grocery costs are not included in the base service price and are billed separately. I shop for you based on your grocery preferences, and provide the receipt, or coordinate with you based on what’s already in your kitchen.
8. Do you bring your own tools and containers?
I typically use your kitchen tools and equipment for in-home services, but I do bring some of my own tools as needed.
You can choose to use your own storage containers or I can provide them for an additional fee. I highly recommend glass containers with a variety of sizes S, M, L to hold a variety of proteins, side dishes, casseroles, salads, etc.
9. What safety measures do you follow?
Food safety and cleanliness are my top priorities. I hold a valid food handler's certification, and I follow all local health guidelines, including proper sanitation, refrigeration, and handling procedures.
10. How do I get started?
It’s easy! Just head to my Contact Page or fill out the inquiry form with your needs. I’ll follow up to schedule a quick consultation where we can discuss your food preferences, dietary goals, and logistics. From there, we’ll create a custom plan that fits your life.
